Amy and Tom's Wedding in Yorkshire

In July I left Shropshire and headed to Yorkshire. A perfect day with simply gorgeous weather, fabulous people and a beautiful location...

A marquee with open sides overlooking a beautiful Yorkshire vale, it was a set up that couldn’t be beaten. Children enjoyed the open field on the site, rolling down the hill, adults enjoyed the view with a glass of Pimms, and a welcome breeze cooled all the guests during a sumptuous meal. Later as the day drew on an tricycle with a freezer on the front turned up to deliver ice creams to everyone and as evening arrived, the additional evening guests were fed with a Pizza Oven and a BBQ!

For a wedding photographer it was a dream, with lots of light and airy places to snap the story of the day in a candid and documentary photography style without having to worry about flash or poor light...actually if anything it was a bit too bright! Yeah, only a photographer would moan about too much sun on someone’s wedding day.

Have a look through the images of the day below...
